In case you missed all the memos, there is very little of Jason Bourne in The Bourne Legacy, the fourth film to spring from the novels written by the late Robert Ludlum about a highly skilled intelligence operative.  If one believes the entertainment media, when director Paul Greengrass was no longer attached to Bourne IV, Matt Damon’s interest in the project ended.  That meant new story and new star.  Jeremy Renner became “Aaron Cross,” yet another incredibly trained and talented operative working for the shadowy forces that toil for the Central Intelligence Agency.

‘Moonrise Kingdom’ marks Wes Anderson’s return to brilliance

On a small island, in 1965, a young boy who is a member of the Khakhi Scouts of North America, “Sam” (Jared Gilman) is found missing from his tent during breakfast.  He has cut a neat hole in the side of his tent that he covered with a piece of paper, and dug a tunnel to escape from the confines of the Khakhi Scout’s Fort Lebannon.  A search is quickly organized by “Scout Master Ward” (Edward Norton), who immediately contacts the island’s head cop “Capt Sharp” (Bruce Willis).

‘Pride and Glory’ is not glorious to watch

Sadly there is very little glory or pride to be found in Gavin O’Connor’s Pride and Glory. an attempt at a gritty New York City police crime drama involving a family with a deep history of service wearing the blue uniforms of NYPD’s Finest.
